What we did:
Svas Biosana S.p.A. is a medical device company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, producing and distributing its own brand and third-party brand products. Over the years the company has specialized in product customization, research and development and regulatory affairs activities, building up a very important know-how in the design and creation of new products.
The main line of products the company was interested in bringing to Amazon was its branded incontinence line, from absorbent pads to adult diapers.
After analyzing in-depth the existing market offering, we realized the company could compete with incumbents by adopting a smart shipping optimization strategy, as existing products were not optimized for Amazon shipping.
We decided to play an ‘Amazon Vendor only’ at start, which proved to be the winning formula for a successful go-to market. The company is now working mostly as an Amazon Vendor, switching to Amazon Seller when needed, to make sure it never loses rankings.
We launched and grew the brand on Amazon Italy from zero to more than half a million turnover in less than 12 months, and started supporting the company in its expansion to other European markets.
